Our Approach to Raising and Developing Young Horses
Our young horses are raised with a focus on long-term soundness, correct development, and overall well-being. Consistent outdoor turnout allows them to move freely and develop strength in their ligaments, joints, and overall structure in a natural environment.
Each horse is started thoughtfully and progressively, with careful attention to their stage of development. We take a slow, correct approach to early training, ensuring their bodies have time to mature before being asked for more demanding work. This supports longevity and helps produce horses that remain sound and capable over time.
Nutrition is an important part of our program. Horses are supported on a premium feeding program, including Omneity, a comprehensive vitamin and mineral supplement providing balanced nutrition through organic trace minerals, amino acids, and digestive support. This ensures each horse receives the nutrients needed for healthy growth, condition, and performance.

Derry's Sea Breeze is a quality young mare by Derryinver Luxury Cruise out of Critical Alert. Breeze had a professional start in 2025 by a dressage rider to give her a excellent foundation. She has continued to develop extremely very well over the winter; gaining strength, balance, and a more established way of going. She is now working confidently at walk, trot, and canter under saddle, and is ready to begin progressing over small fences.

Temperament
Breeze is an exceptionally kind and affectionate mare with a quiet, easygoing nature. Often described as having the mindset of a gelding — willing and easy to manage. She has taken everything in stride throughout her training and is comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, unfazed by farm activity, other horses, and a busy environment.
Rideability
Bred with jumping and eventing in mind, Breeze enjoys her work and is eager to please. She has the versatility to go in a number of directions and is straightforward and trainable, with a willing attitude that suits both amateur and professional riders
Development
Started thoughtfully at four years of age to allow for physical maturity, Breeze has been given an excellent introduction to work with a focus on balance, rideability, and correct basics. She combines genuine athleticism with an outstanding temperament, offering a strong foundation for further development across multiple disciplines.

Silver Nova is a 2023 Irish Draught Sport Horse filly by Derryinver Luxury Cruise, out of 16.1hh Irish Draught Sport Horse mare Linwood (Lindy). Lindy is by Likoto out of Laughton Silver.
Nova's dam, Linwood is a 16.1hh Irish Sport Horse mare who competed to 1.10-1.20m Jumpers and schooled 1.30m. She also competed in Eventing and described by her owner as a very brave mare who was very game!

Farris is an extremely handsome, quiet and easy OTTB. He was retired sound from the track with very few starts as he did not have the appetite for speed!
He is very easy to handle and is anybody's ride.
He had a few slow years through no fault of his own for a couple of years after coming off the track. He is in consistent work now and is going well walk, trot, canter and doing small jumps.

Gemstone’s Arion is by Gemstone Clover is available for lease or sale. Arion is a 16.1+, 5 year old traditional Irish Draught Sport Horse gelding (50% Irish Draught / 50% TB).
He had a professional start with a dressage rider to give him a great foundation to now build on. He is going walk, trot and canter under saddle. He has done some free jumping and shows great potential.
He has a quiet and super friendly nature. He is very well behaved under saddle with a nice go button. No spook at all!
Arion has a conformational fault that does not affect him functionally but it is a cosmetic issue (xrays taken before his start and given all clear by vet). It doesn't affect his way of going or his future career capability as a sport horse.
